The future of fluoroplastics: from basic applications to emerging fields.Fluoroplastics are a type of alkane polymer in which some or all hydrogen is replaced by fluorine, and their structure is complex and diverse. It mainly includes polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), perfluoroethylene propylene (FEP), perfluoroalkoxy polymer (PFA), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), and other fluoropolymers. This new material has now been included in the key development areas of "Made in China 2025", bringing huge development space to the fluoroplastic industry, but also facing severe challenges.
